EA Sports’s Fight Night Round 4 Dominates Video Game Reviews
Designed as a true boxing strategy video game, players are rewarded for exploiting an opponent’s weaknesses as opposed to slugging-it-out.
Designed as a true boxing strategy video game, players are rewarded for exploiting an opponent’s weaknesses as opposed to slugging-it-out.
Highlights of this game are the ability to discover and improve a boxer’s skills. In order to earn points and improve skills, players need to wait for the right opportunities to exploit their opponent’s weaknesses. In Legacy gameplay mode, boxers can move-up weight classes and improve skills. This adds a refreshing strategic role-play characteristic to Fight Night’s gameplay rarely seen in previous boxing games.
The boxing roster features legends and current champions Mike Tyson, Ali, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton. Their boxer’s likeness and styles have been re-created to reflect their real-life counterpart’s strengths and weaknesses in the ring.
A true boxing enthusiast’s game, Fight Night Round 4 is designed for the player that appreciates the skill of boxing and not the ‘Knockout Kings’ approach.
